Assistive Technology Demonstration CenterThis on-site facility lets you try out assistive technology (AT) devices, such as assistive listening devices, blind/low vision aids, daily living aids, and more, free of charge. A certified Assistive Technology Specialist is on hand to answer your questions and provide demonstrations, enabling you to make informed decisions before purchasing equipment.
Making an informed choice based on a demonstration and trial of the product in question benefits the user in a variety of ways:
UCP Central PA staffs and maintains the Demonstration Center in Camp Hill, PA, in partnership with Pennsylvania’s Initiative on Assistive Technology (PIAT). Demonstration Center Hours of Operation: Scheduled visits outside these hours or demonstrations of specific devices are available by appointment only.
